Filmmaker Bio: Fred, Hands On Films
I am Fred Sprinkle and I currently live in Bellingham, WA. I grew up in the Northwest USA, meandering through the San Juan Islands on my family's boat, enjoying Washington Park pick-nicks, treading up North Cascade trails. I feel like I am finally beginning to understand the Northwest culture, to appreciate the natural beauty and more than anything to value the people. Somehow all this has made its way into who I am. When my good friend Aaron Bryant started Hands On Films he invited me to be creative, to grow this creativity, and to use it in such a way that people remain our main priority.
I like to innovate with video, audio and graphics; to try new things. I have had the opportunity to be involved in the video production process in diverse environments ranging from the Costa Rican jungle to remote rivers in Oregon to indy concerts in Seattle. I am very excited to work with these amazing young adults and to help them tell their story in and engaging, innovative way.
