Partricipant Bio: Jason
It's an absolute privilege to be asked to be a part of this trip. As I've been reading through the other bios, I'm struck with the thought of, why them and not me?? What have they done to deserve this?? I don't have answers to questions like this and we may never know while we are here on this earth, but I have come to the conclusion that we are part of something that is so much bigger than we are, and for me, that reality is so much easier to grasp when I am out in the wild.
My lifestyle has been called "transient", but something keeps bringing me back to YD Adventures in Washington state. This will be my eighth year of guiding with them in the summers and my most memorable trips have been on the Owyhee River. There is something mystic about that river, something that makes me feel so insignificant and yet so important, all at the same time. Life is filled with these paradoxes and I love the opportunity to share in these experiences with others.
So here's to the journey that we will all be taking... to experiencing life to its fullest.
