Spend 8 days kayaking 72 km of Class III rapids through incredible 3,000-foot deep, painted canyons. The absolutely stunning scenery, swift rapids, maze-like slot canyons, riverside hot springs and abundant wildlife of this pristine section of the Owyhee River in South East Oregon, makes it one of the most diverse and inspiring rivers in the USA… almost as inspiring as the cancer survivor stories that are shared each night.
Who: This trip is open to any young adult cancer survivors aged of 18 to 40ish (and one of their supporters).
What: An incredible 8 days of kayaking, exploring one of the most pristine and beautiful river wilderness areas in North America. All while building lasting connections with some of the coolest young adult cancer survivors you’ll ever meet!
When: June 15th – 24th, 2019
Cost: The cost of the trip is $750 (USD) and includes all food, equipment, guides and transportation to and from the Boise, ID airport. We do not want cost to be a barrier, so please indicate on the application form that you will need help with fundraising.
- Each participant is responsible for their travel to and from Boise, ID. Arrive at the airport in Boise, ID before 2:00 pm on June 15th and fly out of the Boise airport anytime on June 24th.
