Aug 14-20, 2019: Spend 6 unforgettable days in the Canadian Rockies learning to climb on limestone cliffs and exploring the mountain wilderness with some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet!
This trip is based out of Canmore, Alberta and will include several days of adventures out to awesome mountain destinations. Each night we will eat delicious home-cooked meals, relax and have fun around a campfire surrounded by towering peaks.
Who: This trip is open to any young adult cancer survivors between the ages of 18 and 40ish, and one of their supporters.

What: A perfect mix of adventure and serenity, in the most beautiful of mountain settings. Professional mountain guides will teach us everything we need to know to get climbing in a safe and fun environment. Evening campfires, lakeside solo time and a surprise activity on the final day means this will a trip like none other!

Cost: $800. This includes accommodation, food, equipment, mountain guides, and transportation to & from Calgary, AB to Canmore, AB. If cost is an issue for you, please consider applying for our Julie Crawford Memorial Scholarship. We’re also happy to help you come up with fundraising ideas!
- Each participant is responsible for their travel to and from Calgary, AB. We will meet everyone at the Calgary airport at 4:00 pm on August 14 and then drive out to our cabin in the mountain town of Canmore, AB. Transportation back to Calgary will be provided on the morning of August 20.
